|+||Sometimes you won't be able to kill a process using services.msc. You may be looking for the EXE... But the services are actually contained within wrapper processes under svchost.exe. Download [[http://go.mundy.co/processexplorer|Process Explorer]] and then go through each instance of svchost.exe - open it up, then go to the Services tab, you'll see each of the services that is contained within this wrapper process. You can click the "Stop" button here - sometimes this will succeed in killing the process where other methods (services.exe, net stop) have failed.|
